1. About Us
MeducateED is an educational technology platform registered in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Our headquarters are located in 26th of July Corridor, First Al Sheikh Zayed, Giza Governorate, Egypt. We provide innovative learning solutions and educational content for students and professionals.
2. Definitions
2.1 "MeducateED," "we," "our," or "us" refers to MeducateED as described above.
2.2 "Services" include all educational content, technology solutions, and digital platforms offered by MeducateED, including but not limited to web and mobile applications.
2.3 "User," "you," or "your" refers to any person accessing or using the Services, including students, educators, institutions, parents, or any other authorized user.
2.4 "Organization" refers to any educational institution, university, company, or entity that purchases or provides access to our Services for its members.
2.5 "User Data" refers to the personal data processed by MeducateED on behalf of an Organization or as a data controller when Services are purchased by an individual.
2.6 "Data Protection Laws" refers to applicable Egyptian data protection laws and regulations governing the collection, storage, and processing of personal data.
2.7 "Security Incident" refers to any unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or loss of User Data.
2.8 The terms "controller," "personal data," "processor," and "processing" have the meanings as defined under Egyptian law.
3. Your Agreement with MeducateED
3.1 By using our Services, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. This Agreement takes effect upon your first access or purchase of any of our Services.
3.2 Our Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect, process, and protect User Data, is available at Privacy Policy.
3.3 These Terms apply each time you access our Services, and no external terms or conditions will override this Agreement unless explicitly agreed upon in writing by MeducateED.
4. Access to MeducateED Services
4.1 If you purchase access on behalf of an Organization, you confirm that you have the authority to enter into this Agreement on its behalf.
4.2 You are responsible for ensuring that your devices, internet connectivity, and security measures are sufficient to access our Services.
5. Use of MeducateED Services
5.1 Organizations are responsible for ensuring that their Users comply with these Terms. Unauthorized use must be reported to MeducateED immediately.
5.2 MeducateED reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to Services in cases of suspected or confirmed violations of this Agreement.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
6.1 MeducateED grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for educational, non-commercial purposes only.
6.2 Users may access content solely for personal or institutional educational use.
6.3 Users must not:
- Sell, distribute, or commercially exploit any MeducateED content.
- Modify, reproduce, or reverse-engineer our Services.
- Share login credentials or facilitate unauthorized access to Services.
6.4 MeducateED retains all intellectual property rights, including trademarks and copyrights, related to its Services and content.
7. Fees and Payments
7.1 Users agree to pay the applicable fees for Services, as displayed at the time of purchase.
7.2 Services will be made available upon payment confirmation.
7.3 Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension or termination of access.
7.4 MeducateED reserves the right to modify subscription fees at any time. Any changes will be communicated in advance.
8. Confidentiality
8.1 Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information exchanged as part of this Agreement.
9. Data Protection
9.1 If an Organization purchases access, it is considered the controller of User Data, while MeducateED acts as a processor.
9.2 MeducateED will process User Data only as required to provide Services and in compliance with Egyptian data protection laws.
9.3 MeducateED will not disclose User Data to third parties unless required by law.
9.4 Organizations are responsible for ensuring the security of their User Data and must notify MeducateED of any breaches.
10. Warranties and Disclaimers
10.1 MeducateED endeavors to ensure the availability and functionality of its Services; however, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.
10.2 We do not provide warranties beyond those required by Egyptian law.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 MeducateED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services.
11.2 Our total liability shall be limited to the total fees paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.
12. Termination
12.1 MeducateED reserves the right to terminate or suspend Services in cases of violations of this Agreement.
12.2 Upon termination, Users must cease all use of our Services, and no refunds will be issued unless required by law.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
13.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
13.2 Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Egyptian courts.
14. Amendments
14.1 MeducateED reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
By using MeducateED Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
