The Dr. Youssef Mohammed Abdelsattar Scholarship is dedicated to preserving the legacy of an exceptional student from Kasr Al-Ainy Medical School (Class of 2027) who passed away in 2024. Dr. Youssef was not only a brilliant medical student but also a visionary who excelled in Computer Science, Research, and Entrepreneurship—all while maintaining an outstanding academic record.

A proud alumnus of STEM Ismailia High School, Dr. Youssef was ranked among the top 20 STEM students in Egypt during his senior year. His passion for interdisciplinary learning and relentless pursuit of excellence left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

This scholarship seeks to honor his memory by empowering future leaders in medicine who reflect the same spirit of curiosity, drive, and impact.

🧬 Eligibility Criteria

To apply, students must:

✅ Be a graduate of a STEM Egypt High School 

✅ Be a current medical student enrolled at an accredited university 

✅ Demonstrate academic excellence in medical education 

✅ Show passion for interdisciplinary learning, especially in Medicine, Research, Computer Science, or Entrepreneurship 

✅ Exhibit leadership skills and a commitment to innovation 

✅ Have financial need (for need-based consideration) or a proven record of academic distinction (for merit-based consideration) 

✅ Submit a personal statement detailing how they embody Dr. Youssef’s legacy and how the scholarship will support their future aspirations
