Financial Aid Scholarships are awarded to students whose economic circumstances pose a barrier to education, yet who show unwavering commitment to their medical journey. We believe your potential should never be limited by your financial background.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Places are limited, and early submission is encouraged.

Questions

Is the income limit strict?
The published guideline is an annual family income below EGP 100,000, and it is the main thing the committee weighs. It is a guideline rather than a hard cut-off — if your household is just above it but you carry costs that number does not show, say so in your application and document it. The committee reads the whole case.
What if I cannot get an official salary statement?
Send what you genuinely can — a tax document, an employer letter, a pension statement, or a signed explanation of how the household is supported if income is informal. What matters is that the picture is honest and verifiable, not that it arrives on a particular letterhead.
How much does the scholarship cover?
That is decided per award rather than fixed in advance, because the programme is designed to meet different levels of need. Your decision email states exactly what your award covers. Under our Terms of Use, scholarship awards are granted at MeducateED’s discretion and confer no automatic entitlement.
Does needing financial aid count against my academic assessment?
No. The two are assessed separately. Financial Aid exists precisely so that a student’s circumstances are not confused with their ability.
Does applying cost anything?
No. Applying for a MeducateED scholarship is free, and it always will be. If anyone asks you to pay a fee to apply, it is not us — tell us at info@meducateed.com.
How long does a decision take?
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis rather than in fixed rounds, so there is no single answer — but you will always be told the outcome by email, whether it is yes or no. If your circumstances change while you are waiting, write to us and we will update your file.
Can I apply for more than one scholarship?
Yes. The programmes recognise different things, and several students qualify for more than one. Apply for each separately so the committee sees the full picture for each; you will not be penalised for applying to more than one.
What happens to the documents I upload?
They are used only to assess your application. Scholarship application data — including academic records, financial circumstances and personal statements — is treated with heightened confidentiality under our Privacy Policy, and is retained for three years after the process concludes in case of a later application or appeal.
If I am not awarded one, can I apply again?
Yes. A decision applies to that application, not to you. Circumstances and academic records change, and re-applying later is welcome.
